Are we now expected to accept lag and random disconnects as modus operanidi for XBOX live?

What the heck is with the constant disconnects and lag every day while playing COD Ghosts? Now before you get all it's your connection or it's your network speeds I should tell you I bought this new XBOX ONE last November and have had issues with it
(them) from day 1.

My ISP provided me with a 40/4 mbps service 40 down and 4 up and confirmed with various speed tests. At first it was that I needed to try port forwarding then try the DMZ zone then after those failures Xbox support said I needed to send in my console
and they'd send me another. When that one arrived it wouldn't even turn on so I had to send it in and get another one. When this 3rd machine wouldn't work they said it must be the power bar so at my expense I had to pay for shipping to get another sent to
me.

That seemed to get everything working but still had the disconnects and lag as with the first console. So they (xbox support ) said it must be my ISP and they wanted me to try my console at a friends house that I did with the same results (although
it was the same ISP ) So I then fired that ISP and went to fiber op with and they provide me with a 75 / 30 mbps 75 down and 30 up. Waahoo I thought now I can play without issues. WRONG same ole problems with lag and disconnects. So is this what we are to
expect? Are we just supposed to just accept it as normal operations? They need to do better!! What ever happened to the dedicated servers they originally promised?

2 Xbox one x in one home

We used to have 2 Xbox ones and never ran into this issue. It started when we replaced them with Xbox one x. We use home Xbox functionality to play games together and in the past everything worked fine no NAT issues or random disconnects but now we are plagued
with lag if the other room is on wifi or random server drops if connected to eithernet. We have a new Netgear nighthawk r7000p and it was bought to solve this issue. Seemingly our NATs are always open, we have registered out xboxs ip with our router, our UPnP
is on, and we have tried multiple combination of wifi and eithernet plugin. It seems to happen more with specific games leading me to believe it's a port issue with those games for people with two Xbox ones. But it's strange that we never get kicked from serve
on wifi but eithernet will kick us from server randomly with no lag registered.

 

Xbox live disconnects and random lag

I've never experienced an issue with turtle beach interfering with wireless connections. Since the storm, have you tried to unplug all of your network equipment, unplug coax cable, and even battery if it has one and then wait 5 minutes and plug it all back
in one at a time? Storms sometimes cause latency. Let me know.
