Are Video Games a Spiritual Experience?

I like the story and the video though I'm not a spiritual person at all. I lost my father 6 months ago, he always hassled me for being a gaming nerd, when I was going through his technical belongings a came across lots of games, it bought a smile to my face.

This story has actually been around since 2014 so I doubt it's for internet fame:

I think it's cool that he came across this and was able to play with his dad again in some way, but I don't think it's a spiritual experience. In reality it's just some code and pixels that he has a past connection to and it's not like his dad appeared to
him in ghost form and picked up the controller and played with him, haha, that would be more of a spiritual experience to me.

Regardless of the intention of the video, it was pretty well made and emotional. If someone does well with this video then good for them.

It's a nice idea .

D33dles, the Thread is not about me. There is no wining internets.

"Spiritual" to me is high-jacked hocus pocus, it's also a debate not appropriate for these Forums...The marvel that someone who no longer exist still has digital data through the morden understanding of how the universe works was marred by ignorance
and superstition.

Lol. Doesn't believe a spiritual debate is appropriate for these forums, yet makes his beliefs known and questions the intelligence of others that disagree; well maybe not "questions"...rather a statement. ;-)
