Met some great people on that game, including a good few from here every week for a PGR night. Good times, shame there's no spiritual successor to it.

 

I haven't watched yet but if you mean a "human experience", then I would have to say yes. "Spiritual" to me is high-jacked hocus pocus, it's also a debate not appropriate for these Forums.

 

Surely the his memory and the time spent with him thats the spiritual experience, the gaming reminds him of that.

Could it be yes, but IMO not in this expereince.

Had a chance to watch it. Part annoyed, part enjoyed. The marvel that someone who no longer exist still has digital data through the morden understanding of how the universe works was marred by ignorance and superstition.

 

Spiritual no, emotional yes.

 

Um, no. It's a cool way to have some kind of reminder of your father, but there's nothing "spiritual" about that at all.

fame versus sharing a spiritual moment.

Just because its spiritual, it doesn't have to be religious. It has to effect the human spirit.

To each their own. I guess.

 

Lol. Doesn't believe a spiritual debate is appropriate for these forums, yet makes his beliefs known and questions the intelligence of others that disagree; well maybe not "questions"...rather a statement. ;-)

On a side note, there was a very similar video several years back. Wonder why that one didn't take off? Will say agree with Zero Divided in that, "the pessimist in me thinks that video is more about making internet fame versus sharing a spiritual moment.".

Regardless of the intention of the video, it was pretty well made and emotional. If someone does well with this video then good for them.

It's a nice idea .
