    If I buy a Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter can I use a xbox 360 headset? Also can I use any genuine 3.5mm headset on xbox one?

    you can use any headset/earbuds on the market except for apple earbuds

    Perfect gaming headphones for Xbox one

    For sound isolation, I recommend either closed-back over the ear, or in-ear style earbuds.

    The Xbox Controller with 3.5mm adapter and the Xbox Controller Stereo Adapter are both able to use standard Android earbud style headphones and maintain microphone compatibility. (the iPhone compatible headsets aren't compatible with the microphone)

    If you use the link below it looks like you can use headsets / earbuds that use the CTIA standard on Xbox One controllers with the 3.5mm headphone port or connected to the headset adapter.

    Thanks for the details you shared to us.

    This is quite interesting, if you can try to use other headset/earbuds that is compatible with Xbox One this should be working.

    Can we ask if this just a sudden change that the audio issue is related to the controller?

    Can we confirm if these earbuds was connected to Xbox One for more or less 3 years by now?

    Or is this the first time this earbuds was paired with Xbox Console?

    By the way, may we know how was the audio when you play the game with TV speaker as output not with earbuds? Does it cut out?

    you can only use "for Xbox" wireless headsets, earbuds and co wont work.
