    I got an Xbox One last December. In July, we had a house fire. I recovered the Xbox One and put it in a room to dry out but i'm concerned about any latent smoke and/or water damage. I just hooked it up yesterday and it seems to be working fine but are
    there any diagnostics i can run on the unit to make sure everything is OK?

    As far as I know no, you have two options. Keep your console and hope for the best, or you could call Microsoft and send it back to them to see if everything is ok, but don't be surprised when they ask for £130 (or whatever they would charge)
