Are there any stories, legends or tales that you think would make a great game?

For me it's Robin Hood, there is a ton of source material out there from the classic tales with slightly different takes on the legend to the various movie versions.

I could see it fitting quite well into an Assassin's Creed type game, plenty of side quests to help the poor or thwart the Sheriff.

Are there any stories etc you could see working in a game setting?

I'd love more games that you think that you're the good guy all along, you keep doing what you think is right, you fight for a certain side, protect what you must but you were the villain all along! In the end of the game you yourself would be the finale
boss vs the actual hero who could be someone who pick the other protagonist! (I can't think of any games that are actually like this)

Off course. There is a Italian comic book named Zagor, ghost with axe, set in pre war American west. He is God among natives and he holds the balance between natives and whites. Great stories.
