Are there any issues with XB1?

I'm thinking of getting an XB1 (been looking at the white sunset overdrive bundle.. I love the look of the white console) I'm trying to do abit of research before I take the plunge and ive been reading stuff online about the Console is noisy makes static
noise's and the main effected console are the white one's without Kinect.. the one I want. Is this a small % of consoles? as I also read MS is aware of it and will exchange console's if someone has a loud one.. which to me sounds like it could be a high %?

But I read also this issue could of been fixed in an update?

and things like Dashboarding and freezing.. are they still an issue or has that been ironed out now?

I have a massive OCD about fan noise (my PS4 is killing me)

Are there any GTA V digital version issues?

As far as I know the digital copy still has issues compared to the retail copy. I don't think the 8GB USB will change anything since it would access it differently than the disc/hdd combo. It definitely sucks because I would rather have the digital download
version - especially since it is on sale right now. Sorry! :-(

I have the digital copy downloaded to my hard drive, and I don't have a single issue with it, its probably your xbox. Microsoft made the 250 GBs console somehow better than the 4GBs console, they are more stable. I have tons of games and demos on my 250
GBs console, and not a single problem, be sure that your console is in a well ventilated area

 

I have had a day one since Nov 2013 and have had not one problem what so ever. figure 13 million consoles sold, you read about 10 thousand with problems so you think it is a huge deal. If there were more posts about how the console is NOT broken, they would
drown the broken ones out in a second.

 

XO is noisier than a PS4 when it is in low power mode, they are about the same when both running. With my headset on I never hear it tho.

Overall the stability of the console is good, there are hiccups every now and again (more so lately) but they are not major issues.

There is nothing to stop you buying an XO at the moment.

 

seriously about the same? im reading the XB1 is dead silent??

does the XB1 stay at a steady rate tho.. my ps4 just seems to go up and down all the time during games.

It is dead quiet.

If it wasn't for the white light on the One, you wouldn't be able to tell if it was even on.

Just more PS4 propaganda from the haters.

 

It's pretty quiet.

If you're trying to hear it you will though.

I have read a few reports of the White Xbox One's being noisy but my daughter has one and it's as quiet as my launch day console, more or less whisper quiet!

Freezing/Dashboarding, any game can crash, just the way it goes sometimes but I don't know if Microsoft addressed the dashboarding issue in a previous update but I've not had an incident in months now, fingers crossed it stays that way.

And if you decide on the Sunset Overdrive bundle, enjoy as in my opinion it's a fantastic title.

 

I don't have a white one, but mine is pretty quiet. I can't hear it from where I sit, but can hear my PS4. As far as freezing and such that seems to be depend on the game.

 

I cant hear my One unless I put my head on it.

 

My PS4 is so loud that I cant play it at night. It wakes everyone up.

And one time it started a small fire.

But I keep it because its 1080p.

thanks for the feed back guys, im still torn between what to do, like I said I have a ps4 which I witched to after 360 (XB1 didn't win me over in being a pure games machine) but my fear of something must be wrong if it sounds like that on my ps4 is doing
my head in. and there seems to be some good deals with XB1 at the moment.

Oh and another PS killer for me is lack of online ps4 exclusives, yes single player is good but that's over in a weekend. where as it looks as if XB1 (like 360) caters for online too.
