    backwards compatibility of xbox 360 games on xbox one on disc

    I got loads of xbox 360 games on cd rom disc and they are not working for backwards compatibility even though these games are on the official list of backwards compatible games. What is wrong? I read online that xbox 360 games on disc are also supposed
    to be backwards compatible with xbox one.

    Backward compatibility doesn't work with Sonic the Hedgehog

    Hello,

    I have the CD of the game Sonic The Hedgehog for XBOX 360.

    In the list of the compatible games for the backward compatibility on XBOX one, this game is written as compatible.

    Unfortunately, when I enter my CD in my Xbox one, it doesn't work, nothing appeared and I can't unstall the game.

    Can you help me to resolve my problem ?

    Hello there are quite a few Xbox 360 game that are backwards compatible. If the games you have are on the listed below then you should be able to use your discs on the 360.

    Available games

    However, please bear in mind that compilation discs that also include extra content will sometimes not work.

    In addition to above when you insert an Xbox 360 disc for a game that is backwards compatible your console will need to download the backwards compatible version of the game from the Microsoft servers and you must keep the disc in the console to play the

    Cant start my game disc on my dvd in my console xbox one

    Backward compatible games require the download of the Xbox One version. From the internet. They will not run from disc, it only acts as a key.
    I read on internet that backward compatibility are you paying some money, and your able to play your old games xbox 360 , xbox one etc.. from your external hdisk whitout the cd drive

    Am i right ? And what is the coast for that emulator
