Are the game controllers fair playing?

I decided to play Borderlands 2 today. I went to the "Wildlife Exploitation Reserve" to rescue "Bloodwing." However, I did not get over the first bridge-alive. There more than the normal amount of resistance in robots. I was using the cloaking that Zero
has, but as soon as the cloak wore off, I was taken out about every time.

When I finally made it to the first bridge, there was a fire scag waiting for me, he took me out with just one simple flame. Strange though, I was wearing a fire immunity shield-which means, the flame should not have taken me out. Three time the controller
had the fire scag take me out with no regards to the fire immunity shield that I was wearing. That should give you a good picture as to how out of course the game controller was. I tried about ten times and was cut short in the very beginning with more than
the normal amount of robots that was there in previous times that I have played this game.

I played this game about two years ago, and won it through on all levels. I quit playing games for about two years, then decided to come back and play Borderlands 2 again. I did well with "Axton" and his torrent. I played to level 2, The True Vault Hunter."
I had no trouble then. So, you can see that I'm not new to Borderlands 2. I'm quite aware of the game controllers that you play against. I have never had one so spiteful as the one that I experienced today. This guy/girl, was determined that I will not cross
that bridge-even if they had to cheat to get it done-which they did. They made their poor sportsman attitude known today-with a friend of mine watching.

I don't know who this person is, but I hope that you don't get him/her, if you do, they won't keep the game honest-you can count on that.

    :)

Are Some Game Achievements Fair ?

Whenever you feel like playing again send me a friend request and see if I'm online. If not just go to Playshadowrun.com and check the chat to see if any of the regulars are in a game or gonna make one. They sometimes do private but from what I've seen it's
usually just a friendly party in publics.

    .

I don't know Brandiesel(at least I don't think I do). The more the merrier though, SR is an awesome game.

Soooo the Fire Scag was showing poor sportmanship? Are you wanting to report the Fire Scag lol? bad Fire Scag..sounds to me like your playing a harder difficulty with a beginner character which in that case the bridge is going to be a pain and just about
    everything else.

I guess you missed the part where I said I was wearing a "Fire Immunity Shield," right. What good is a fire immunity shield if fire blows through it? Why even have them in the game if your going to be tricked into believing that the shield will work for
    you?

It's true that I was playing with a new character, but my level was down only one-I normally can handle that. Like I said, a game controller made sure I didn't cross that bridge at that time. Fire should not have passed through that shield-you should know
    that.

  6. lol Easy knight i really didn't understand what your whole thread was about(i still don't) i was just taking a stab in the dark and adding some humor...sounds to me like your playing a lower lvl character on a higher difficulty and it's been awhile since
i have visited the Borderlands world(which i love) but if i remember right even having a fire shield equipped doesn't mean you won't take damage..it just lessons the pain and a higher lvl enemy will kill you pretty easy.

If say your character is a low level character with a Fire Immunity Shield that can stop... say 1350 fire damage cold...

But the Fire Scag is doing 8000 fire damage...

You're still going to take 6650 fire damage despite the Fire Immunity Shield.

A better name for this thread is "is the AI playing fair". You played 2 years ago which means your skill level for the game has dropped. Shoot I have trouble with games I played 4 months or less ago, because I forget the button layout. Or the AI routine.

Learn how to avoid getting shot by the AI by doing the matrix move and win the game.

Or just get a better level.

The above is fun and you should try if you do it in the right game the AI rewards you with great humor by surrendering.

Yeah that does happen and I pretty much enjoy that but dont think borderlands offers this feature.

I do appreciate all the comments, so, thanks for stopping by and giving me your thoughts.

Here's the scoop on my experience with the game: I played Borderlands and Borderlands 2 through on the tougher levels and came quite proficient in playing the games. I played them for many months then decided to quit playing. I packed everything and gave
    the game set away.

Two years went by, now I decided to play both Borderlands again. Currently, I have been playing them for about six months, I played "Axton." I have became very proficient with the game again-I just love the torrent. But, I finally got tired of playing him,
so, I thought I would try "Zero."

So, I'm not new to the game-I have good experience with both Borderlands. Neither am I new to the devices used in the game, or playing at higher levels. The scag in question was one level higher, but yet, blew sparks (fire) through my "Fire Immunity Shield."
That should have not happened. This happened three times in a row upon reaching the bridge. This has never happened to me in the past. In matter of fact, I just got done fighting the dragon at the end of the game. I was briefly fired on by him, and my fire
immunity shield barely moved? He gives out more flames than the scag I'm referring to. So, would an "AL" do that three times in a row, and putting the scag on the bridge, and not in the same spot on the bridge each time? If an "AL" can manipulate an object
three times, and putting it in different spots, then it should have noticed that there was an immunity shield worn on the field of play.
