Are the disc errors only on GoD version?

Been thinking about picking this game up the last couple days, and was about to get it through the Games On Demand. But after reading all the 'error posts' I'm thinking I should stick with picking up an actual disc copy.

Will I be good to go with the disc? Or should I forego this game all together?

tbh I always install my games thank god for a 350gb hd because I have had to bad an experience with disc read errors this was the cause of ALL my 360 failures never had the RROD and now install everything and watch no movies on it lol

Those games are both only one disc. Last I heard L.A. Noire was the only multi disc game on GOD.

One thing that need to do is either, release GOTY editions, or lower the price of the 'base' game GOD provides. In some cases you can get a GOTY retail for the same as just the game on GOD.

Convenience or not, I'll get up off the couch to get the all the games DLC for the same price.

 

Hi there SLIDER75, I had this issue and it depends really. I bought it on a sale last year around this time and my issue was I could play the game on the console that had the license, but if I tried to play it on any other console, it would say "disc unreadable"
once I started the single player. I had no issue though once I transferred the license to my main console. If you only plan on playing it on one console, I can safely say you shouldn't have any problems.

You should be good to go, the error is only a problem with the download version. But even that doesn't happen for everyone.

 

I should also mention that if you do get the disc, I wouldn't recommend getting the limited edition version. I've heard that version is faulty as well with a lot of players.

Hi FaNaTiikXBL, if you're having an issue with the GoD version, you just need to transfer the license to the console you want to play it on but once you transfer it, you can only play on that console. If you try to play it on any other console, it doesn't
work and sadly it's been 2 years that this issue has been found and no updates have been made to fix it since.
