Are some open ports really required?

listed open ports required for xbox. I think I don't have them open and still I can use the Xbox. Is the xbox able to punch a hole through my firewall if it needs these ports?

Why would the router automatically open ports for the xbox? How would that happen? Does it depend on UPnP (which I have disabled)?

Or if you have q 2 way enterprise level firewall like the one guy did that thought Xbox runs MS office lol and was a 10 year it professional who didn't know what a false positive was

It just receives that signal.

If you're not having any problems connecting, you don't need to configure your internet devices.

You only have to manually open the ports if your router isn’t doing it automatically

The Xbox consoles and PS4 require different ports to be opened. Since the Xbox One and the 360 require the same ports to be open, some routers cannot handle that and only prioritize one of the consoles over the other.
