Are refunded games removed from your "owned games" list?

This is definitely a stupid question, but I have incredibly annoying OCD when it comes to my game collection on Xbox. I just preordered Sonic Frontiers and am thinking about getting it refunded, but I will want it to disappear from my console if I do that. If it does get approved for a refund, and I no longer own it, then my mind will only be satisfied if I can't find it anywhere in my owned games list or anywhere else. I know uninstalling games still keeps it there, but that's different from straight up refunding the game. Thanks to anyone who replies.

I have refunded a game myself currently, got my money back, but I still have it owned. Anything I can do to have it removed quicker?

Hi Failron26, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

An approved refund will remove entitlement or license for a game which means that once the game has been approved for a refund it will no longer be visible on your "owned games" tab.

I got the refund for the twice reborn game but the other day it appeared in my owned games in full library how do I get it removed from my owned games since I already got the refund

Generally, old games won't be refunded, no...however, the easiest way to check is to go into your purchase history and, if it's refundable, there will be a refund button there.

As to not having it owned, far as I know there is no facility to have it removed from your account....after all, what happens if you have it removed from your account then one day decide you'd like to play it? It would create all sorts of issues
