Are " Pilots " really more lethal than " Titans " ?

The sidewinder was my favorite but im more of a hide and seek player now when im attacking a titan

Love my Stryder, with Electric Smoke and Triple Threat and dash core. Certain maps, I can last the whole round.

 

Just dashing around Doc? You can't be much help to your team, I drop Stryders in 5 seconds flat unless they run and when they're running they're no threat at all

 

Of course not. I like my kills. Wouldn't use it, just to survive. If you can drop one that fast, then the pilot sucks. lol

Also, as I said depends on the map. I also use another titan with a completely different setup.

 

when this game came out Ogres dominated the streets, but now that people are getting there skills honed I'm seeing a lot more Atlas' and Stryders doing well. I'll never leave my ogre though, me and him have been through too much together, I call him Thorg

It depends on how I feel about the group im with in the room. If im not to worried about putting in the effort to win(because the group sucks or the teams are way unbalanced) I prance around in the stryder, taking cheap shots and then hightailing it around
a building. I wont lie though, there are a few that can do good damage with the stryders

 

I use a Stryder just for CTF, Usually with a pre charged dash core, the opposing team is usually 3-0 down before they realise what's wrong and put a stop to it. Any other time I use the Ogre, with Big Punch! Come at me!

 

@DocH - That styder set just plain rocks. With the gooser update dropping today, I can't wait for some G6 Triple threat time.

If you play dumb with the stryder, it's the least forgiving thing in the game, but if you play smart, it can feel unstoppable. Even more so when you work support with a team using Atlas and Ogre Titans.

Yes, nearly unstoppable when supporting friendly Atlas/Ogre and is a nightmare for enemy Titans and pilots. I usually get the most assists per match.

 

I like this method to kill a titan. When you can call your titan do it once it drops down put it in follow mode or if there is another friendly titan around fighting an enemy titan. Go behind it and then jump on the enemy titan. It will be to busy to notice
that you're on it while they're busy taking on the other teams titan. Boom there you you go easy kill for you although this tip i gave you is a bit risky you have to be skilled and try not to be seen i did this all the time in the beta and still do.

 

I'm still trying to master the Stryder with the triple threat. I end up walking into my own bombs. And im so used to the slow moving Ogre that i forget to move around more when in the Stryder

 

Hello everyone

This game looks really awesome. The closest game that I can relate to is " Armored Core 4 " as I favored high manueverability and high firepower I didn't like Armored Core 4: For Answer that much and I didn't even look into Armored Core 5.

any tips on Advancing through Gen 4 with the sniper rifle? Ive never been a sniper type guy in most games? And with a game like this, where you constantly have to move...this is just gonna be next to impossible
