    Are games bought at a discount with "Deals with Gold" playable if you no longer have Xbox Live?


    You buy a game at a discount when you have Xbox Live Gold membership. Do you still have access to the game if your Xbox Live Gold membership expires? I understand you do not have the multiplayer or aspects of the game that require you to have Xbox Live.
    But, many games are single player that do not need the Xbox Live support. If I no longer have Xbox Live can I still access the portions of the games I bought that do not require Xbox Live? Or do they put it behind some kind of wall that require me to have
    Xbox Live active to play these discounted games?

    It was my understanding the totally free downloads are restricted to having an active Xbox Live account. I was wondering if the same thing happened with discounted games.

    Deals with Gold

    Do you get to keep Deal with Gold if your Gold expires? Deals are the ones you pay for at a discount.

    SHAME! Shame! False advertisement

    Shame you Xbox for false advertising on services and discounts! Gold membership deals should be available year long and recognizable post discount if difficulites are experienced. Just sayin, fathers days here and games like Destiny should have deals, wake
    up Xbox and make a business.

    If you actually pay for them, you can play with or without gold. It's on the games with gold games that are restricted.

    I can no longer claim games with gold. I have an active Gamepass Ultimate Subscription that's good until 3/30/2026. but still unable to claim games with gold.

    I am having the same issue. After upgrading my subscription from the regular Xbox live Gold and GamePass to GamePass Ultimate, i am no longer able to claim the current free game with gold and use discounts for Deals with Gold games.

    It looks like you bought this almost a year ago. Just know that when you renew for another year of Xbox Live Gold, it will be at the full going rate and not discounted.

    Why is the Microsoft store is showing 2 different prices on games and DLC???

    Are you looking at the deals with gold deals? If it says With Gold next to the discounted price and you don't have xbox live then you won't get that special price. If you do have xbox live gold then I'm not sure why the price would show incorrectly.
