    Are DLC purchases not cross-platform?


    I just bought the witch queen campaign in destiny 2 on my PC (through the xbox app). However when i went to my xbox series x the game says I need to have that dlc and it's not showing up in when I look at game add-ons.

    If i want to play this game, sometimes on pc and sometimes on xbox, do I have to purchase the add-on twice?! I hope I'm missing something!

    Hello Redknite, you'll only be able to switch between the PC and Xbox platform if the games and DLC's are Playanywhere, which means that the same game can be played on pc and Xbox with the same license.

    destiny 2 seasons are but the actual dlc is not and never has been.

    Hi, yes they were purchased through an Xbox, it was the Dead Cell's DLC's I believe it is cross platform but if not that's ok too.

    You would need to go to purchase history on your account and request a refund, the season passes on destiny are cross platform but the dlc has always been platform specific.

    Were the games you are downloading purchased on a previous PC or on an Xbox? Just asking as DLCs don't generally cover cross-platform so, if they were purchased through an Xbox, that may explain it
