Are Digital or Downloaded Video Games consider Emulator?

Hello everyone!.. I know, This must be a weird question.. But even when I attempted to look online on different websites and on Youtube.. I was unable to find an answer to the question which is: ' Are Digital or Downloaded Video Games considered Emulator?
' ..

While we all know 100% that Playing Video Games from Xbox 360 Games (Such as Saints Row 2, Halo Reach or Elder Scrolls Oblivion Example) unto Xbox One by Backward Compatible is guarantee Emulator.. I believe so..

Now I been wondering recently..

Physical Games from Past (Nintendo 64 or Nintendo Gamecube Examples) to Present Physical Copies (Xbox One Stronger or maybe Blu Ray Version of Game CDs? or Improved smaller Carts for Nintendo Switch?) all been physical which might always been a requirement..

Now according to Wikipedia.. The Rise of Digital Games begin in the year 2000.. If I read carefully anyways.. Bit tired lol.. But the question which I just curious thought of this year or last year about the Digital Video Games..
Are they somehow in a sense of Emulator?....

Please anyone with a good answer, Please reply! I will be checking this post as soon as I can or I might come back tomorrow since I am bit sleepy lol..

General Questions...

lol I just meant once you make the digital purchase there is no resale on it like physical games.

As for Xbox Video, anything you purchased on 360 should be able to be downloaded on the Xbox One from the Xbox Video app.

Hello?.. I want to say I am sorry for posting this topic or question last night... I couldn't come back because I fell asleep lol...

Anyways.. Does anyone happen to know if Downloaded or Digital Games are in one way or the other a sense of Emulator?.. Like Digital Games on Xbox One?.. Or Digital Games on Xbox 360 or so?.. My reason for asking this question is that I am just simple very
heavily curious if it's true or not true..

We all know that using games from Xbox 360 to Xbox One counts as a Emulator.. But that is not what I am asking though..

Please reply if you happen to know an idea or such, Please.

I think I kind of get what you're saying, but no. Digital games are not emulators. If you were to download and play a 360 game on a 360 console, you're playing the original coding for that platform. But downloading them on the One they are emulators because
they have been recoded to work with the One's system.

I see.. So they are not even Emulators for Digital Video Games.. Perfect! Now I am satisfy with this new information.. Thank you Smwutches!..

And yes I am aware that Playing games from Xbox 360 Games to Xbox One Console is Emulator to work for the newer system.. But I was just curious about the Digital Video Games.. Thank you Smwutches for confirm my curiosity and theory about it.. =)

They aren't considering backwards compatibility. They are considering an emulator that will allow the Xbox One to play 360 games via streaming or downloading. It won't actually read old 360 discs, though.

Hm. I was under the impression that digitally downloaded Xbox One games were unplayable offline, so I thought maybe the same would be true of the emulated 360 titles.
