around 99-2000'ish my friend calls me up and asks me to ride along to go meet his new "girl Friend" that he met on some chat site (I assume yahoo) ....apparently he'd been burned before and wasn't entirely trusting that his new GF was the same girl he had
a printed picture of....and buddy that picture was hot ....basically he wanted a wingman in case he needed to bail quick...he had gone and met several women over the course of time this way I guess so it was to be expected ...(I myself have never and will
never do the online romance thing) ...anyway, we arrived at the trailer court she lived in (should've run then) ...we got out, he walked up to the door while I stayed by the car...the woman that answered did not remotely resemble the girl in the printed picture....I'll
leave her description to your own imagination, but suffice it to say it was bad, and I was the one who asked "umm...is this you?" holding the picture...she said "oops teehee I accidentally sent you my friends picture" ....to which I replied "so...you're friends
with Miss July?" .....had my friend simply met girls thew old fashioned way...like drunk in a bar, many a disaster might have been averted

 

The moral of this story, for those younger readers here is, find yourself a nice woman, marry her, treat her like gold and stay in a monogamous relationship. Be a man and don't ever cheat! If you can find yourself a good redneck woman, you're a lucky man.
And no, redneck and trashy are not at all the same thing.

p.s. I use "redneck woman" interchangeably with "country girl". My wife is this and she is a wonderful woman who I'm lucky to have.

"Redneck" isn't a bad thing, nor does it imply simple bumpkin ....I grew up on the west coast among the grime and crime of the city, luckily Grampa had a farm in the sticks...had the best of both worlds growing up....after the Army and a college education
I settled in relatively rural Idaho....I live in the sticks now, the nearby "city" has 3 whole traffic lights...yeah, I'm an adopted redneck and wouldn't have it any other way ....yup, get a redneck girl man

 

I got lucky and got me a Cajun woman! Thats like "country and redneck" all in one, LOL. BTW, Ive had the same results as your internet adventure, from a "bar" also, so the bar isnt always better. Too many beer goggles.
