tutto cio che dite riguardo gli hdd esterni é che possono essere usati su xbox one per salvare giochi e app e in alternativa file multimediali (video,musica,foto ecc) ma sul serio ho anche chiamato e nessuno sa dirmi se posso mettere sia video che giochi
sullo stesso hdd esterno contemporaneamente o no?��

Thanks for the reply and for letting us know about the issue. Unfortunately, the coding for the files are completely different for game and media files. When connecting an external drive
you will receive a notification message asking what type of format would you like to save the files as Games & apps or Media files - pictures, music.

that's very smart move from you guys -.- you can't even trasfer file from phone whit usb,or dlna...so if you want to put film you have to buy 2 different hdd 👏👏👏

There is a unique format done to an external drive connected to an Xbox system rendering it incompatible with standard PC's. The only way you could possibly "share" the drive would be to partition it prior to connecting to the console and using only a
partition ( I have not tried this and do not know if it is possible). Even if this did work you would have to move it back and forth it would not work as a network share.

Within this article, "You can use it for Xbox games and apps, or for personal media such as pictures, music, and video. The external hard drive will be formatted and will not be able
to be formatted for both.
