I tried it earlier on 360 and pretty much deleted it after a couple of goes.

Thought it was awful.... and the monetization/Microtransactions were taking the proverbial! Having to buy Respawn tokens? Unlocking guns that you can only use for 24hrs unless you pay to rent them for longer?



I'm kinda hoping the game fails miserably! Lol

One of my favourite games in the last year lol

It does take quite a bit of time to get into though, you got to be willing to do a fair bit of grinding to level up, find some decent items/power ups.

On the PS4 version you don't have to buy repspawn tokens, you get given so many every 48 hours as long as you log into the game once every 24 hours. If you use them all up though, yes you get a choice to buy some with "platinum" which you buy with "real money"
( well you get so much when you first play the game ) if you have none though and all your team dies, unless someone's alive to revive you just fail the mission.

There is TONS of stuff you can buy but I checked my stats today and in 97 hours of play I've bought a companion ( little robot that follows you about ) cost me £2.50, I could have got in-game to where I am now without it but probably would have took me 200
hours lol.

I found the first 10 hours of play pretty samey, once you open up more planets though there's some great missions and some of them are HUGE. Granted it won't be everyone's cup of tea but for me, almost 100 hours of play, spent £2.50 on it, enjoyed this game
a lot more than some next gen games I've paid around £50 for, I won't grumble lol

Just shows you how I keep up with news, I thought this was only a next gen title, didn't realise it was coming to 360 etc lol

 

I think MetalGearFloppy has Warframe confused with Warface lol. Warframe is the PS4/PC (soon to be X1) game set in space where you upgrade your "warframe" and do different missions. No idea what Warface is. Warframe certainly doesnt have guns that you can
buy only to use for 24 hours.

Trouble is I was thinking to myself, how come I missed that Warframe was coming to the 360 ;-)

 

I'll give Warframe a go later. Yes, I treated myself to that other console as an early birthday pressie. (I was missing my fixes of DCUO since my daughter commandeered my PS3)

 

Is Strider HD out now? anyone tried it

 

I could be wrong but I thought Strider was due out on the 18th March?
