Arcade games are Freezing Once every 5-10 min like clockwork

I just purchased and started playing spartan **** and its been freezing like clock work once every 5-10 min.

i just loading up my Perfect Dark revamp for Arcade and it too is freezing like clock work!!!

so its not just spartan ****

WHY are my arcade games freezing like this? is it something do with the last patch? system patch? is there a fix coming for it?

Apart from it freezing every 5 mins I am enjoying it.

 

My Xbox keeps freezing every 5-10 mins

How do you have your console sitting? Is it in an enclosed area of a TV cabinet?

If so I would take it out of there immediately and sit it somewhere that is open and has good ventilation, I have a friend who keeps his in an enclosed space and it constantly freezes.

If it is already sitting in the open and depending on what model it is, it may be on it way out.

 

This has only happened to me recently with Spartan Assault too. I've been clicking around trying to find out what to do. I can barely get though 2 missions without it freezing.

 

i went to storage hard drive and cleared the cache and it worked for about an hour or so without freezing still froze after that

 

Same, Spartan Assault is freezing for me and I'm having to to pull the power cord out of my Xbox to get it to switch off. This can't be good at all :/ Pretty sure I didn't pay £12 for a game for it to behave like this...

 

Mine won't go past the connecting screen without freezing. I've tried on 3 different consoles (phat elite, slim, and slim h4 edition). Talking to support right now about it I'll let you guys know if I come up with anything.

 

Unfortunately microsoft support wasn't able to come up with a solution for me. What I found though is that I was able to get to the menu screen by backing out of the screen that asks you where you want to save to. Then after playing I found you can go to
options on the main menu and switch save devices and it would let you save that way. After doing this I havent experienced any freezing.

So that's your temporary solution for anyone with the same problem as me.
