April Update Beta Issues

@CounthElephant38 they aren't accepting any new previewers at the moment, so there are no invites to be send at this time

 

There is a workaround for the disk issue. You can either

1.) Hard reset your Xbox after you put in a new disc.

or

2.) Once you put in the new disc and it doesn't read it, leave it in for 30 sec, then take it out and put it back in.

 

nothing works as ive tried absolutely everything for 4 days nothing will work until they release the full update which is *** when i rang they told me it would be released over a 3 day period from the 8th April till the 10th i haven't received the full update
yet so another day of waiting

 

it removed all of my achievements all of my cars everything from forza and started it like a new game, I literally owned ever car check my profile and there idea of fixing it Microsoft support is to post it on here, so guys how do I get my game
back to normal when in achievements there all there even the raced 10 of your own Ferraris but I dont own a single car in the game now???

 

Microsoft asked me to type this the beta erased every achievement every badge every car every last thing from forza 5 I was completely done with the game 98% completely literally owned every car basically I even had the badge not just for show race 10 of
your own Ferrari's well please fix this the game doesn't show any of it but if you check my gamertag look under achievements in forza 5

 

Lol betas have issues thats why its not out for public release? who chose some of these people?

 

If there's anybody in here with the ability to do so, please can you invite me into the Update Preview Program? I'm a long time Microsoft tester and would love to be in the test group for this, but was overlooked this time. Thanks.

Edit: It still astounds me that this many months after release, that the website here still doesn't show any Xbox One gamer activity on things like your gamercard on the forums. Poor show.

 

For any participants in the Xbox one preview please post any issues in the preview forums via the link mentioned earlier in this thread.

Issues mentioned in this thread are not seen by any of the preview forum support members etc

it is now april 9th I have had another beta update and it does not *** the disc back in that seems ok for now but it does still mess about when you insert another game it doesn't recognise the disc or says there is no disc in so you take it out and insert
it again maybe 2 or 3 times before it recognises it properly it is still not right so Microsoft I hope you see this and I hope your engineers know there is still problems with the update
