April Update Beta Issues

@KoS TATTOOZ First off, please watch your language, we are just trying to help.

Secondly that link does work if you are part of the preview and if the access to that forum group was set up correctly.

So if you are part of the participants for the preview but are not able to access the forums, just mention it, so we can try to help you get access

@Rudd3rs I'll try to get you on the list a get access to the forums

 

@ WPAK no profanity was used so what language would you be referring to? Yes I do need to be part on the preview update forum since your update has ruined my xbox. Or are you going to refund me my 600 dollars? Thought so...

 

Please tone it down a bit. WPAK is an Ambassador and volunteering his time to helping you. He also offered you a solution. Are you a part of the preview programme already? Do you have the latest preview update? If so, let us know and we can request that
you get access the forums so you no longer see the Group Not Found error message.

There's absolutely nothing to be gained from giving him abuse or calling others idiots.

Putting all this behind us and moving onwards on new footing, let us know whether you actually are in the Preview already and we can try to resolve that for you.

 

For the SECOND time yes I am in the preview update please get me into the group I am infuriated

 

I requested that you be added. Typically you get access within the next 24 hours, but that can vary.

 

For all the people who are having issues with there consoles instead of arguing on a forum why not not try help people out right this are suggestion.

turn off console completely and unplug for 30 seconds the plug in and switch on

if that won't work try a factory reset because the I do this every time I get an update on 360 or XB1 and what this do's is implement the update in the right way to make the console work better it's like having an android phone and you have a big update
the manufacture of that device advice you to do this to help solve the issue's so before people throw insults about in hear try this solution and if this don't work your console need repairing so book it in and get it sorted out you have the legal right and
you have the consumer act behind you aswell if a device you buy is not to what they say it going to be or it breaks you have the right for a repair or replacement

Hi there can someone please help me get access to the right forum to leave feedback as all I get is group not found . I have been part of the beta from the start but haven't been given access to the private forum . I'm still having a few problems from the
preview update for April if I eject the disc it takes it back in then have to eject it again then when I put another disc in it says it's dirty or damaged also the kinect is not working as well as it did & loading times take a lot longer & also were it says
friends online it's in strange writing. The only thing I haven't tried is factory reset as I'm reluctant to do this I have tried all other suggestions lots of times but still having problems I don't want to switch my xbox off & on again to play each game I
have .. Please help..

 

I have the same problem im in the beta but I dont have the link to the forums because I deleted the message

I was getting that issue. Now if I say Xbox On I can hear it turn on but no lights come on. Then if I manually hit the power button the front the light comes on then the whole console shuts off. Then I press it again and it comes on like normal. Very very
odd.

@Just C0w please leave any feedback/bugs/issues regarding the preview update in the preview forums. The issue about Kinect and Eject disc are both known issues and should be fixed in the next update for the preview.

You can not take the update off, like mentioned before you accepted to be enrolled in the preview updates. The preview forums can be found here:

i would love the opportunity to view the preview so i can add feedback on thing to be improved to make this console amazing..
