is there a way of getting rid of the preview for april

Xbox One - April Update Issue (View Friends Online)

It may not be the April preview, the last update to the update for the April preview was 1.6g, although I not been on my xbox today so could have come through this morning.

are you in the beta preview program ?

 

Titanfall, dashboard, can't read disk.

No, you can't get rid of any of the previews. All updates are permanent and can't be reversed.

 

I hate it when people ask this when they accept it in the terms of service

 

@proneto i know for a fact you have skipped your fair share of terms of service.

 

You can easily unregister your console from future updates using the registration app.

You cannot, it's all or nothing with the updates and registration.

 

I still wouldn't take this as a definite that the update has bricked your Xbox. Going back to your thread about this earlier, it definitely sounds like a coincidental hardware failure.

I'd suggest calling support as you were advised before.

 

I an of the few that read them specially when I have a memberships and services with Xbox/ Microsoft I read them I know what it means. But yes there are a few I have blindly accepted but the majority I do read.

 

@N7 it is one thing to Prepere for something and another entirely to Prepare.

 

@proneto lol i respect your honesty. Hard to come by it these days. I also read some but ignore most like phone contracts for example those are pages long

 

I was only asking i new the answer but thought i would ask. I choose to go in the preview because i was lucky to be choosen by microsoft i had no problems with the march preview im watching top gear at the moment once i go back on i will see if my games
load first time
