April 01 system update issue

I updated my xbox360 last night (01 Apr) after being prompted to, the xbox360 did its own restart. TV displayed no signal after that and after waiting for a little while longer the error code: 40A3-416B-B380-2508-C000-0185 appeared which says can'y update
the console.

So i went to check the error code database and did what the xbox.com/support page said which is basically to download the update onto my thumbdrive. Did that but still to no avail. I removed my external Hard Drive on the XBOX360 and rebooted the XBOX360,
message appears asking me to plug in my HD so they can do an auto restart and continue the update. Plugged in the HD, xbox360 does an auto restart and I am back where I started with TV showing no signal and waiting for around 5 to 10 mins the error code appears
saying unable to update the console.

I have tried bringing my XBOX360 to my buddy's place where I removed my external HD and exchanged it with his, still the same thing.

My XBOX360 was working fine until this update last night and I have no more solutions. Can anyone please help?

Xbox One is frozen on the start screen with the three dots.

First noticed this issue on 04/01/15. I've tried everything except the offline system update tool because I don't have access to any Windows machines...

Same problem with the new update, been online with support for nearly 3 hours clearing cache rebooting downloading manual updates for my usb memory, all to no avail, can't use my xbox unless I install this update...come on Microsoft this is not good customer
service!!

 

That update caused several problems to me too. Yesterday i played for 3 hours and it freezed like 5 times. I have 4gb slim version with 320gb additional hard disk, and everything on my 4gb has been deleted. profiles, savegames,everything. and my console
keep freezing. what the hell??

 

ok for those who have downloaded the update.. the file that says system update has a folder inside the says system update also. that is the file that has to be on the usb. so open the first one and put the second one on the drive. it should work. i had
the same problem yesterday.

 

I have tried all day to perform a system update (4/1/04) and it does the initial download, then goes into a bigger update with the green bar. It goes a quarter of the way and then says attempt 1 of 3, then 2 of 3, then 3 of 3, then eventually get an error
code. I have tried doing the update while plugged in also. Reset my router. I have tried all that I can. I cannot play any games until this update is done. I am concerned about the previous replies about losing save data and content. Any further ideas anyone?

 

i tried to update after being told i have too and now i have no picture of xbox starting on the tele, i have a green light on the power switch but no other green lights, console powers up still no picture, so i cant even get an error code,

 

Hey microsoft !!!!!! You must find solution!!!! I have freezes and hangs, after your last update;((( its no good.

 

I update my Xbox with April 01 update and boom. Red Dot on reboot. April fools? (Though it stays Red Dot up to now)

I have called up my local MS XBOX support and updated them on this issue, was told this is a rare occurrence after they ran an initial check on the error code provided. They told me to give them two days to compile the information they have from other complainants
and they will try to work out a solution or provide me a replacement unit if necessary.

 

i didnt solved anything. technical support did not help. microsoft idiots

 

I also have a bad system after applying this update. I called yesterday and was handed off 3 times (supposedly teir 3 support) and was told I had to pay for a repair when my xbox was working find before the update. After the update my xbox does not load
the dashboard and just freezes after the splash animation. This is unacceptable. I do not receive any error codes so my hardware is fine it is the update that has caused this failure.
