Apps on discontinued Xbox 360

When the Xbox 360 is discontinued, will we still be able to use the apps like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc? It would be great if we could. Just wondering if I can use these apps before I am able to get the One.

There was a facebook app on 360 for a while, and it was by far the worst and dysfunctional facebook apps i've ever used.

I think they just kind of discontinued it eventually it was so bad.

Nothing has ever been stated officially as to why the game was discontinued on the Xbox 360. It did affect a lot of fans of the game though.

As to the issue of billing, there is a statement that all purchases are final.

 

There are no plans yet to discontinue the 360. So this question is a little bit pre-emptive.



It's inevitable that the 360 will be discontinued at some point, but that hasn't been any decision yet, so details on what would happen to apps would not be known yet.

 

If they ever do discontinue Live for the 360 then you wont be able to use the apps on it.

Xbox Live acts as a gateway, so if Live is down you can't access any other online service.

 

i recently found the deezer app is no longer available which is a shame cuase i have a subscription
