    So my Internet Provider came out and they just had to extend the tower higher up to reach over a treeline so the upload speed is back up to speed. However it did not fix the issues I'm still having. I went and did a hard restart on my Xbox One and nothing.
    I restarted my router and nothing. Even double checked my router settings to make sure the Xbox and PC weren't blocked by a firewall, nothing appeared blocked, but items and apps from the Microsoft Store still won't download.

  3. I started by trying to download the original way I have my connection set up and it still did not work. So now I used my cell phone as a hot spot and the TV & Movies App downloaded and the rest of my apps are downloading as well now too. I opened and made
    sure all of them worked while connected to my phone and I then plugged my original connection back into my Xbox One and they are now working. Soooo... maybe my router is actually blocking something I missed?

    It could be, yes. I'm not sure what it's blocking, but it sounds like something like that is going on.

    Can you post back with your router's manufacturer and model information, please? I can see if there's anything in particular with that device that we need to focus on.

  6. That's a fairly decent router that we don't see a lot of problems on. Are you connected to the 5ghz or 2.4ghz wireless? And can you post back with your modem details, please? I want to make sure we don't have an accidental double NAT being set up with a
    gateway device. Apps not working after latest update :)

  7. Both my PC and Xbox One are connected by an ethernet cord. My brother's Xbox One is connected on 2.4ghz. I don't know what or where to get the modem details you're asking for.

    Sorry for not clarifying! I mean the modem's manufacturer and model number. Or do you plug your router into the wall for community internet?

    The internet receiver cable comes in and goes to the modem and from there plugs into the router. Then from the router my computer and Xbox One are connected on separate ethernet cables and as stated before my brother's Xbox One is connected through wirelessly.

  14. Who is your internet provider? Outside of community internet in an apartment complex, a dorm, or Verizon, I'm not aware of others that have it set up like that.

    It sounds like that there is a double NAT situation happening that is causing your brother's console to receive priority over yours. Though I'm not entirely sure why it would prevent you from downloading apps, especially when it worked before. Once I have
    the ISP, though, I can dig into any possible issues that we might be running into on our end. Apps not working after latest update :)

  15. i had this issue a bit back what i did to fix it was a pretty complex process but what i did after all the steps you did was make a new gamertag as a place holder since gold is xbox wide used spare gamertag to open these apps as the main acct then log
    out while my active was still signed it and it forced reboot of said apps to work again so i would suggest making a spare acct leave your main signed in sign in on the spare gt once netflix loads it will ask for netflix info same with hulu enter that info
    run the app for a bit than sign out of the spare so your main is the only 1 logged in
