Apps Not Launching

Hello Tony,

We recommend trying a power cycle
of the console.

If the problem persists, try doing a soft factory reset of the
console, Reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system. Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

Try this out first and let us know the results.

Im always having my apps fail to launch. Everthing else is fine, the games still play and the system still works but the apps like youtube and switch sometimes will not launch. Is there anything i can do to refresh the apps without having to unplug
and replug the entire modem.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox Forums have you tried Factory Reset:

1. Press the Xbox button
   to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console.
7. Select Keep Apps and games

I can also confirm this issue exists. The app will launch fine if "Launch app in the background" is unchecked, but will not launch (or at least not show the tray icon) if it is checked.

When I launch the app. Nothing appears. It's blocked on a black screen and when I wait the app close. And I can't launch the app. It's bugged.
