    Apps Not Downloading on Windows 10


    Hello,

    I've come across a problem where no apps will install on the Windows Store. I'm trying to download some apps off of the Windows Store however it keeps showing that there's an error - I've tried restarting my computer, checking for updates, and I've gone
    through many guides already that have not resulted in any success. Does anyone know of this specific error code because I don't know for sure what's going on. Could I have some help?

    The error code is 0x803FB005.

    Can the Windows Store verify an existing installation of game(s) downloaded previously or from files from another computer? Similar to Steam et al

    Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, you will need to click the install to download any digital content for PC.

    If you have a Windows 10 device, you can now use the Xbox app to connect to the Xbox Live service.

    Hi,

    First you need to download the PC Xbox App to your Windows 10 PC. You can get the download

    here

    Next you need to sign on the App with the same account you use on your console. Plus, if you haven't done so already, you need to make sure you are logged in with the same account on the Windows Store.

    The Xbox App doesn't actually do any downloading, everything downloads via the Windows Store for Windows 10, but you need the Xbox App to initiate the download, and this is why your account needs to be on both. If you already sign in on Windows 10 with the
    same account, you shouldn't need to change anything on the Windows Store.
