    Apps n games are failing to launch still after recent update


    Since the most recent Alpha ring update on my series X 7/30/21 my console is still failing to launch apps, reboot or even file a report. I get (0x8027025a) as an error most times n when trying to report the problem on the console it will also fail to load. console will at time auto shutdown in the middle of use. Most after many failed app loads n game launches.

    I have installed the most recent update for MS10 and now the xbox app fails to launch.



    Edit: got the xbox app launched eventually and still the same issue with the E: drive.

    New icons since April update?

    It means the game or app has recently received an automatic update. To remove it you just need to launch the game or app.

    It's been a couple months, and I've still had the same problem. I've done a soft reset again that keeps my games and apps, but that didn't work either. My console has also been updated recently, but the app still won't launch.

    Yep me too. Did reset but now on restarting all my games/apps are failing to launch. Only getting OneGuide to launch (after I retuned) and uninstalling/reinstalling does not help with games or apps (even Plex).
