    Apps My Profile Only


    Hi Guys

    I share my Xbox with my son and have parent and child accounts, how do I stop Apps I download to my profile being available also on his. I have set an age limit on his profile for gaming but I want a TV/Movie app but they show on his profile, can be opened
    and 18 films can be watched so just want the app to display on my profile/pages? Any way it can be done?

    My xbox 360 account is completely *** up and it may happen to others!!!!!

    Please try deleting those apps from your HDD and your profile (profile only), as well as clearing the system cache 3 times. Redownload your profile and reinstall the apps.

    Let us know if this works.

    What's the purpose of modern Avatar?

    Like I said, I will double check Profile is an app or not when I get home. An app can be closed from the home tab just like how anyone close a game that frees up memory.

    So, aside from what is considered dashboard. Do you have any other insight to what's the purpose of the new Avatar?

    There is no games using the new avatar, nor any announcement of games about it. The only time you can see it, is on a tiny 2D gamer Pic or your have to see it in the profile screen which people rarely go to.

    The only time it may be used is showing other people's avatar in activity screen, which I am just assuming they would work this way. And even that, it doesn't seem useful at all.

    Minecraft app only on main family profile - not on my child's profile

    First, if not already done so, you will have to sign in with your adult account on
    https://account.microsoft.com/family and add your son's Microsoft Account to the family.

    If already done, have your son sign in on the laptop. Then you open the Store app.

    Click on your son's account in the top right, and then sign him out of the store app.

    Sign in with your own account on the store, and then under the library, install the Minecraft game again on your son's account.

    The game won't be installed with twice the hard drive space. Only the License is added to the other user on the laptop (i.e. your son).

    After you installed Minecraft, sign out of the store again (unless you want your son purchase stuff in your name), and then let your son play Minecraft! Yay!

    Same problem here but only on my Netflix profile, my wife's netflix profile (also set to adult) works fine. Stupid Netflix app.

    Correct but when I do that the app says I need to sign in to a certain account that was created and then deleted. I have a new adult account that the console is signed into, but the app wants to sign into the old profile. That is the only profile that the app asks for and won’t let me link to it. My console is signed into a new profile but app wants to link to old profile that doesn’t exist anymore
