Discus and support Apps Installation fails in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hey there, since a few months I have the issue that all the time 3 Apps try to install or update.     Apps Installation fails


    Hey there,

    since a few months I have the issue that all the time 3 Apps try to install or update.

    I have an XBOX One X on newest software version.

    The Apps with the issue are:

    - XBOX Avatar Editor

    - Microsoft Rewards

    - Filme & TV

    The Apps all the time try to install themselves and directly stop at 0% with an error. I tried to restart, deinstall, erase the cache, delete local games ... All the tricks. Nothing works.

    Is there any secret tip, which might help?

    Hello SN,

    Diego's mention of a soft factory reset would indicate that it is recommended to try resetting while keeping the games and apps.

    Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
    apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

    Go ahead and try the step provided, and let us know the results.

    Which Factory Reset should be done? Leave the Apps and Games installed or also delete anything from the console?

    Hi sn original,

    Thank you for coming to the forums, I'd be happy to try and help.

    Since those are Xbox system applications I recommend doing a console
    soft factory reset    . You will need to know your account login information to recover your account since you are restoring the console to factory settings but everything reapplies when you add your account back when it asks you to sign in.

    Try the factory reset and let us know if those apps still can't install or update.

    for the past week there has been continued problems with xbox lives content and purchase usage this may result in many games not being able to install at all or update. You can check the updates regularly at https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-live-status

    it looks like the problems have been solved, however if that hasn’t worked then you can go into network settings - adavanced network - DNS settings and change primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and secondary to 8.8.4.4, however only do this if you still struggling to
