Apps downloaded from Microsoft Store will not launch

Discus and support Apps downloaded from Microsoft Store will not launch in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I have downloaded Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4 but neither will launch.     Apps downloaded from Microsoft Store will not launch


    I have downloaded Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4 but neither will launch. When launched both just indefinitely show the cover art and do not show up in task manager. Reinstalling does not help.

    Games doesn't launch with xbox game pass for PC

    If the game has downloaded completely, but will not launch from the Installed Games sidebar in the Xbox app, please try launching the title from the Start menu or the Microsoft Store on Windows.

    If you own the xbox game pass download Xbox (beta) app from Microsoft Store and launch games with it

    Sorry to hear it. If you're trying to install from the Beta app then cancel the download and launch the Store app and download the game from there.

    I appreciate it, you can try installing the Gaming services by launching the Windows PowerShell, make sure to run it as administrator. After that, enter this command, this should launch the Microsoft Store App, you can install the app from there:

    start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
    Hello i have typed the command and i am now at the gaming services page on the microsoft store however there is no button to download the app. What do i do now?

    If you previously downloaded the app from the Store, and "own" it, you should be able to re-download it from your list of apps in your "Library". Launch the Microsoft Store app in Windows 10. Click on the three dots in the upper right corner (right next to your profile avatar), and select "My Library". Select "All Owned" and you should find it in the list of your "owned" apps. Good luck.
