Apps Closing

I have read through what you have done - experienced.

It reminds me of an issue I had with an app update last year which changed some configuration setting without me realising. it was baffling because some apps were not affected but this open-close-open is familiar with other apps in use or in the background as they are running.

I eventually did a clean install on nmy Surface Pro using windows 10. it solved the initial problem but I had to go through every app singular to find the culprit and exclude it from the action is wanted to take.

Be very careful what apps ask of you. Some are not clear about how they function on your system so it can be a mistake to rely on these especially if you set updates to automatic. I never do this for apps as they can cause havoc.

btw this is not being caused by your Windows updates.

Do you know if your laptop received a recent windows update?

If yes, could you try uninstalling the latest update?
This, in case is the latest update the one causing the issue
(If you have more than one, try deleting the latest. Then try again, if the issue persists, continue deleting the next and keep trying)
