Apps and homescreen not loading

I have had an issue for around two weeks or more now where I attempt to open apps such as Mixer,YouTube and Netflix the system just stalls on a blank screen, an error message saying I check out xbox live status eventually appears shutting the app down,
it doesn't stop there neither. If I am playing a game and I close the game down or attempt to by pressing the home button once again I get a blank screen and eventually have to close the console down and reboot the system. There are no help topics on this
so I am hoping someone here can help.

Uninstall the apps from the xbox, power cycle it (It will clear the cache) and reinstall the app.

It works for majority of the people that have the same problem you do.

Is it just certain apps giving you this issue or is it all apps? You may have to reinstall them

I would try a full power cycle, as mentioned, by pressing the Xbox button down on the console for 10 seconds, waiting 5 min or so, and unplug all external connections (save power) from the console and power it back up. See if you get the same results without
anything else connected. If not, connect the devices one by one and run for a bit until you start to see the error again, and that might help identify if there is something else interfering.

If that doesn't solve the problem, then you might need to open a service request for the hardware at
devicesupport.microsoft.com

Sorry to hear it. If a power cycle of the console is not helping then try doing a factory reset. There's an option to keep installed games and apps so you won't need to redownload them.
