    Hey- I've been a user of Xbox live for 15 years but I didn't know I wasn't enrolled in Xboxlive rewards. I made a fairly large purchase only a few days before officially enrolled. How can I see about applying that purchase to my rewards program?"

    Will my purchases still correspond with the Xbox Rewards program if I just applied for the program?

    Hi support,

    I recently applied for the Xbox Rewards program. I'm a gold member of 10 year tenure. After applying, I received this email.

    "Get ready - you'll be all set to start earning through Xbox Live Rewards within the next two days."

    My question is, if I make a purchase today, will the purchase still be counted towards the rewards program? Or would I need to wait until the account is fully verified for my purchases to matter?

    It's not fare

    The Xbox Live Reward program only rewards users for making purchases, and when they make purchases it takes at least 1 cycle to receive rewards. If your friend only joined yesterday he was not rewarded from the Xbox Live Program. He could have received it
    from the Microsoft/Bing Reward program (separate) or from Sales/Promotions (separate).

    I also wanted to mention that it can take up to 96 hours for purchases to reflect on the Rewards page.
    That applies to the Xbox Rewards program. The Microsoft Rewards program usually has different timetables.

    They may have been talking about the Microsoft Rewards program (which is a different program than Xbox Live Rewards), but as Smwutches says, there is currently no Xbox Live Rewards offer for hardware purchases, and we are unable to track purchases made from
    physical retail locations.

    Yes, they have to be completed after signing up for Xbox LIVE Rewards and actually having a profile on the rewards program side. I believe what you were asking about was the 1st time marketplace purchase. That's specifically for an account that has never
    ever purchased anything on Xbox LIVE and then joins the Xbox LIVE Rewards program and then makes their 1st ever purchase. They get those 100 points.
