    Application stopped during installation


    I have a brand new xbox one without kinect. The system was updated to most recent revision yesterday.

    Upon installing applications such as Pandora and Khan Academy from the store, they get to 99% and then a message comes up that says "application stopped." It also takes a long time to get the option to even install the app from the store, even though I am
    on a 100mbs+ Internet connection with no errors.

    Is there any fix for this? Or do I need to pack this thing up and send it back to Amazon?

    nothing, 100% installation and nothing, installation stopped.... Application stopped during installation :(

    Installation Stopped on Elder Srolls Online Xbox one

    it always says "Installation Stopped" and when i press "Resume Installation" it tries and boots up for about 10 seconds and then stops again with the "Installation Stopped" message popping back up

    Application stopped during installation

    There's currently a Service Alert up for downloading content for Xbox One, which covers games and applications. This is probably the issue you are seeing.

    support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status

    Once that clears up, you should be good to go again.

    Worked after I rebooted the system and tried a couple times more.

    Microsoft should send out a service outage notification to the email addresses of all xbox Live users. people should not have to guess what is going on, or search the Internet to find out there is an issue.

    Thanks a lot for the tip! I tried it, but it doesn't work, the download continues to stop and restart, and I can't download my games. Is there anything else I can try or is it impossible to solve?

    Yesterday there were some issues with Xbox Live services.

    Can you try again today and check if you are able to install your software again?
