Application Error (0xc0000005)

I downloaded a game on steam (Rogue Company) and after it finished downloading, I clicked play and it loaded like it normally would but then it would give me a application error. I just dont know what to do, I've what most youtube videos about games not working on steam but none of them have helped solve the error. Does anyone know what to do to help solve this error?

In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

In the meantime, what are your hardware specs?
Did you already tried increasing the virtual memory in your PC?

May I know if you have overclocked your processor, GPU or RAM?
If that's the case, please try disabling any overclocking feature and check if the issue persist with the game.

If not try this:

A. Do a clean boot in your PC and try again

My Processor is AMD Ryzen 5 Microsoft Surface (R) Edition 2.10 GHz, (I'm on a laptop currently), I have 8.00 GB of installed ram (5.98 GB usable), System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor. My virtual memory is already higher than the recommended so I think I'm good on that one. So far I've already verified the integrity of the games files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I tried to run it as administrator, I checked to see if my anti-virus interfered with steam, and I tried to change the DEP on it but it didn't work either.

You’re getting an application access error. This can have a large number of potential causes from faulty hardware, to corrupt game files, to corrupt windows system files. I’m afraid I can’t tell you much more than that, but here is a link to a very good description of the error code that you’re getting. My recommendation would be to reinstall the game and go from there
