Appears son is purchasing the same things over and over and my credit card is being charged

My son has an xBox 360 and he is using my account to play games since I do not know much about computers, and it appears he is purchasing the same things over and over and it is causing a lot of money to be deducted from my credit card.

I have a cousin who may be able to set it up so my son has his own account and cannot purchase anything without my approval, which he is going to help me in the next day or so with, but I was wondering, is there any way I can get the money back for the items
he has purchased, if they are all the same things?

Any xBox support staff can look at my xBox profile and see the transaction history for this year and see what I am talking about.

PLEASE HELP!

someone hacked my microsoft account

Same thing happened to my son and some of his friends this week. The guy offered to let them download his profile onto their Xboxes so that they can download Watch Dogs for free. They all fell for it, unfortunately my debit card is attached to my son's
account and the guy charged over $60 on my account, changed my sons Gamertag and associated email address, so now my son has no access to his own account.

Redeeming an XBOX Gift CARD is taking over 2 hours!!!! It shows I have $25 credit, but it still charged my credit card the full amount of the game!!

Crap, I hate Microsoft!

What the hell? I got my son and his friend over here at the house and they have waited 2 hours while I fuss with this damn xbox gift card purchase of a game.

I entered the 25 digit gift card number, see a $25 credit, then go to pay for a game marketed at $29.99, but there is no option to apply my credit. I assumed the credit balance in my account would automatically apply and the difference of $4.99 would be
charged to my credit card if I proceed to purchase and now it shows in my credit card account the full amount of $29.99 was charged!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear it. Unfortunately purchases are listed as non-refundable although, if you like, you can always try phone support. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269.

What I would recommend for the time being is immediately remove your gamertag from the console so he can no longer purchase items from it. Otherwise, phone support can remove your credit card from the account as well.

I never said they were XBOX Live transactions. They were for purchases from Microsoft made online. The first time it happened I applied for a card only to use with XBOX Live. Two years later fraudulent charges started. The second time I used a credit card
I had for over 10 years without a problem. One year later the fraudulent charges started. The first card only had 1 charge for Microsoft Purchases of over $1000. The second card had one charge for over $1200 to Microsoft and then 6 days later a charge for
another online retailer. I have four credit cards that I have had for over 10 years. I have never had any fraudulent charges on any of them. Do you think it is a coincidence that the only two credit cards linked to an XBOX live account ended up with fraudulent
charges? Is it also a coincidence the both cards had large Microsoft online transactions? How about when I call support about my account and they never confirm or deny that someone got my credit card info when I ask.them. Nothing is impossible, I think the
hacking community has proven that over and over.
