Appearing online (visible only to friends)

What the title says. I’ve been stuck with this active for quite a while now, and would like to know how to disable it.

Hi KnightTime1, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

You can manage this by signing in to https://account.xbox.com/settings then under "Privacy" you can scroll down to see "Decide who can see that you're online and which game or app you're using.".

If your friend has been appearing 'offline' his status will not update until the next time he appears 'Online' and is visible.

Hey there, if this is a privacy concern to some users, then they should block their Online Status to Friends Only. When someone appears offline and they switch games from what they last played appearing offline, it shows that they have since changed games,
that has always been visible for as long as i've been on LIVE. So therefore no, I don't think this is a issue being worked on.

As to the No barriers that has nothing to do with online privacy settings. They could have it set to custom and have the one where only friends can see them. I have this one set so tons cant find me.

It could be Privacy settings on the account. If they are friends of a friend and not your friend they can block activity.
