Appearing online does not work

I've had this issue for a while, appearing online never works. I've changed accounts etc and even a different xbox one, still doesn't work, not sure what to do

My Community feed doesn't update properly.

Is there a chance you're appearing offline? If you're appearing offline your activity does not appear in the feed.

Are you appearing offline? You have to make sure you are appearing online. This might be the reason why it's not working.

You might start with a hard reset on the Xbox one but holding down the power button on the front of the Xbox One for 15 seconds, then let go and restart the Xbox and try again.

If that doesn't work then remove the account and add it back and try again.

Theory of Game

Does the button in your profile read "Appear Online" or "Appear Offline"? It's admittedly a little confusing - you want the button to read "Appear Offline" for you to be appearing online (You'd click the Appear Offline button to actually appear offline).

No, it happens on a Xbox One S, he doesn't appear online or anything,, he can play games (like gta history mode) but as soon as he tries to go online just doesn't work. Apex, Rocket league, Gta V, Battlefront 2, evert game he tries does not work.

Check your privacy settings. However appearing offline shouldn't be the reason why you can't play coop.
