Appearing Offline?

If you set your status to appear offline, do you still show up in your friends feeds? When im invisible i can still see my own actions posted in the feed as well as my friends.

My Community feed doesn't update properly.

Is there a chance you're appearing offline? If you're appearing offline your activity does not appear in the feed.

Are you appearing offline? You have to make sure you are appearing online. This might be the reason why it's not working.

When setting your Profile to Offline all your status and Newsfeed information will not be posted. It will make you invisible on Xbox One & Xbox 360. None of your Friends will see any of your Activity. If you have any more questions regarding status of your

So if i turn off my xbox will anything change or it will still show that u are in offline mode....

The problem is you show as 'offline' rather than 'last seen' so people know you are set to appear offline. This is a big oversight and needs to be fixed.

Theory of Game

Does the button in your profile read "Appear Online" or "Appear Offline"? It's admittedly a little confusing - you want the button to read "Appear Offline" for you to be appearing online (You'd click the Appear Offline button to actually appear offline).

I haven't seen those options in the division but they do exist in Diablo. They still broadcast that I am online when I am appearing offline which is my main gripe, I try to be anti-social but these games try to force real people into my games *** them lol.

I will definitely look to see if I've missed the settings in the Division, thanks for jolting my brain into thinking about their existence.

Pretty sure Diablo has similar options as The Division.

You aren't playing on Xbox Live servers but the publisher/developers servers in a lot of cases, so they have their own settings because the game is multiplatform.

Can't speak for Diablo 3 but the Division has options for Open, Friends Only (the default), and Invite only. Set it to Invite Only and people wont be able to join your game unless you invite them.
