    Appearing Offline, but Shows Me Online Still


    I typically appear offline all the time. As of yesterday, I had gone and switched myself to online for a short period of time then back to offline. Since then, my Xbox App on the PC shows I am appearing offline and it also shows that I am set to offline
    on my Xbox One itself. However, my friends have seen me sign on and be at Home, even when I have something like Mixer up. My roommate looked at his friends list and it shows me as signed out, but shows how many minutes ago I was online.

    I've never had this happen before and was curious if this is just a glitch or what. Thank you.

    New Xbox Experience - appear offline?

    Makes me wonder if I'm still showing offline or not.

    Good evening,

    My xbox profile is appearing offline and i didn´t change anything. I swich to online in my profile but it swichs back to offline. I go to privacy and online safety to set eveything to allow and friends and it still appearing offline and my friends can´t play
    with me.

    Can you please help me

    Sounds like a glitch. But the Xbox app has been known to do this a few times.

    I actually solved the issue, and it was the appear online thing...IT is VERY misleading because when you go on your profile, if the button shows "appear Online" then you are actually appearing offline...Click on it so that it says "appear offline" .

    So basically it doesn't show your current online/offline status, it shows what you can set it to.

    Are you under Xbox Preview System? If not could be just a temporary bug, happened a lot a times with me also, but after a few days fixed in its own.
