    Does anyone know how to appeal a refund decision

    I bought Mamba version NBS 2K21 for the wrong XBOX console and simply want it for the correct console but I received a refusal which stated:

    "Our refund policy limits the number of refunds for which customers are eligible within a year and you have already received the allowed number of refunds this year."

    But I haven't requested a refund previously

    And

    Technically I don't want a refund but an exchange

    The game was £85 and due to the price this was the only birthday present my son received from me this year

    I have tried the Contact Us options but can get past the pre-defined options so that I can send off my request under a suitable option

    Can anyone help?

    Appeal a refund refusal

    To appeal, you have to reply to the email you got stating the refund was refused. Explain in detail in your email why you want the refund. The refund team may then change their mind and give you it.
    Many thanks for the advice Stuart, I will give that a try & see what they say.....

    Can't get a refund for buying the same content twice.

    If you requested a refund using the refund link here https://support.xbox.com/en-US/billing/xbox-subscriptions/digital-goods-subscriptions-refund and you were refused, then you can reply to the email that was sent to appeal against it. Just explain why
    you want the refund and provide the order numbers (can be found on account.microsoft.com), and hopefully, they will issue the refund.

    My suggestion would be to apply for the refund anyway, if it's refused you can appeal it with a bit more detail which may get a slightly more positive response, but failing that you might have to go via your bank in order to reclaim the money.
