    Apparently the app would prefer to not stream


    So I have a little dilemma, which is puzzling me to a great degree. Before when i would connect my computer to my xbox through the app, it would connect with no problem. A couple days ago, I was streaming my xbox and I had to stop streaming for a second,
    but then when I tried to go back to streaming, it couldn't start it again. Then the app lost its connection to my xbox and I have not been able to connect it since. It is all on the same network and it will not even recognize my xbox even when I type in the
    IP address of it. What have I done wrong?

    Apparently the xbox app doesn't want to stream

    I am pretty sure I am still connected to Xbox live since I can get community updates on the app, unless I just need to be connected to internet

    Remote play is not working in the xbox app for PC

    Thank you! I found the original Console Companion app- which unfortunately is dominated by a 'switch to the new xbox app' advert- is OK for streaming but as microsoft seems adamant I should be using the 'new xbox app' I assumed I would be able to remote stream from there! Apparently it's not implemented yet :(

    Streaming on xbox mixer vs twitch

    I really prefer mixer, I have never liked twitch since the beginning. The streams are always terrible, not sure if its due to my location. Struggles to stream low quality, where on mixer I can stream 4k no problems. I think mixer would become more popular
    if they added more platforms and apps.

    I have Windows 8, I have Xbox music and before I could stream it from my computer to the system player. No I can't seem to do it anymore. Funny thing is I can still use the Media Center and it streams but I would prefer either the system player or the Xbox
    Music app. My library is added to the app on my computer but I can't get it to stream to the Xbox. Save me.
