Apparently no Gold, won't let me renew

My Xbox One isn't allowing me to go online as it says I don't have a Gold subscription. When I try to buy a Gold subscription through my Xbox one it says 'This payment option is used on as many accounts as it is allowed to be. Remove it from those accounts
and try again, or add a different payment option' This is the only account my card is being used on, does anyone know why this is happening?

Xbox live not working

I turned off auto renew for Xbox live and it's ment to expire 7/14/2018, but it won't let me play any games because I have to apparently renew Xbox live

I think i figured it out, my xbox live subscription ran out between getting the game and letting it download and booting it up to play it. apparently my xbox games with gold won't let me play in between gold subscriptions. I wanted to do some single-players
while on gold hiatus for a few days, but that won't let me.

Update - it now let's me turn off auto renewal on my account but it won't let me delete my paypal details do I have to wait til my gold runs out or what?
