    Apparently i dont own this game


    Right so i have owned a game called Ark:survival evolved for ever even when it was in game preview anyway i bought the first dlc for it and recently it came out of game preview and i went
    to buy the season pass which comes with the second dlc already in the game and the third dlc when it comes out but the problem is if i go on the store it says i dont own the game or dlc but it lets me play it and i paid for it the problem with this is that
    if you own the first dlc your supposed to get 33% off the pass but where it thinks i dont own the dlc i dont get it please help

    Hi Nikestrand,

    Just want to figure out something are you buying the next upgrade or are you expecting it to upgrade automatically because you already have the first version of the game (e.g. Standard upgraded to deluxe)?

    If you are trying to purchase the upgrade and its not working then it might be that the "purchase content" is currently down, but if your expecting it to automatically upgrade then as far as I know that's not possible as they would be two different versions
    of the game set at different prices.

    Are you sure you're on the account that purchased it and are not sharing the game from another account? Check this page to see if you have the purchase of the game on your account purchase history:

    Sorry to hear that this issue is frustrating you.

    Let's see if we can figure out what's going down.

    Normally, if it's not recognizing certain aspects of your account like license/purchase history, the best course of action is to try and refresh your account on your console. Follow the steps here on

    How to add or remove a Microsoft account on Xbox One
    to remove and then redownload your account from Xbox Live.

    If that doesn't work, and your billing history shows that you did in fact purchase all the necessary content, then I would try what we call a soft reset.

    It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

    Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
    will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

    Also make sure that you select the option denoted reset and keep my games and apps.

    Follow the steps here on

    and let us know how that helps with the issue

    As for the error, can you please confirm if you were attempting to make this purchase directly through your Xbox console or through a web browser on PC? Are you able to download the game as a Game Pass subscriber?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response….

    I have checked the order history on the interred which says completed and the order history on the Xbox (which shows the game) it then takes me to the store to re purchase the game.

    I have already removed my account and added it back I then did a full system reset and have added the account back that way and still no change. This is very frustrating as I bought the game less than 3 hours ago.
