app "xbox accessories" does not see my xbox one controller

hi everyone,

I have an issue with my xbox one controller, it does not work with my PC.

I have a new laptop (1 week old) windows 10 all updated. I bought a new xbox one controller (with wireless pc adapter) to be able to play to some games on steam (such as the witcher 3, or metal gear solid V) with a controller.

I downloaded and open the app xbox accessories to be able to update the controller. I connected the controller with the wireless adapter and the app showed that i had to do an update at the controller. I do it but all of a sudden it says that an error encourred.
I restart the controller and now the app does not "see" the controller anymore and i am not able to updated it.

If i try to play to any game it does not work.

I tried to uninstall the app, to restart the laptop, to connect it with the USB with no results. I do not even have an xbox console to try to update the controller from there.

Xbox Accessories check battery level

Using windows 10, I want to check my battery level on my MICROSOFT XBOX ONE CONTROLLER.

The APP says use "Xbox Accessories" APP.

I open Xbox Accessories APP.

Xbox Accessories says "PLUG IN CONTROLLER" so I do

The APP will NOT tell me the battery level because it is PLUGGED IN.

These APPS are the cheapest, POS I have ever seen. DO BETTER MICROSOFT!

I bought a new laptop (windows 10 all updated) and a new xbox one controller (with wireless adapter for PC).

I follow the instruction to update the controller so I just downloaded the Xbox Accessories app and then I connected my controller through the wireless adapter. At first the app saw my controller and it said that an update was needed. I started the update
and all of a sudden it said that an error occourred. So i restart the controller and now the Xbox Accessories app does not see anymore the controller so I cannot update it.

If i try to play to any game on steam (the witcher 3 or metal gear solid 5) it does not work.

I tried already to restart the laptop, the controller, to unistall and reinstall the Xbox accessories app but i still cannot see on the Xbox Accessories app the controller. I also tried to connect it with an USB driver, the laptop recognize it and it installed
the drivers, but the Xbox App still does not see it and it won't work with games.

please could you help me?

I have nobody with an xbox one console to ask him to try to pair the controller and update it from there.
