App wont turn console on

Im having an issue with the xbox app on windows 10 and the smartglass app on ios not turning my console on. Ive tried with my Windows 10 PC (xbox app), Windows 10 laptop (xbox app) and my Ipad (smartglass app), none will power my console on, they will all
connect to it when its on and turn it off though. My Xbox is set to instant on and everything is on the same network with the same Microsoft account logged in. Any ideas?

MW3 Console wont turn on

Playing a game on fifa then Randomly the slim turned off and won't turn on

is it because it's overheated and i have to wait about 3 hours so it automatic turn back on?

Controller Wont Turn On Console

How long do you wait for the controller to turn on the console? Occasionally it can take a bit longer if there is a slight amount of interference in the room.

Hello! I understand this can be frustrating but as far as I can understand the consoles instant on feature is only available via the kinect command.

If you need further troubleshooting, I recommed re-pairing all devices to the console after turning them off and back on, or calling customer support.

well I've just tried a factory reset and set my network up again. the app sees my console when it's on but still won't see it to turn it one when its off, it's definitely in instant mode aswell, is this something that got broken in a recent update that I'm
going have to wait for Microsoft to fix? anyone else having this issue?

this feature used to work, but it's been a few week since I've been able to turn on with the app.

Been trying to sort this over the weekend, Ive reinstalled the firmware on my router, done a factory reset on my Xbox and re synced the app on all devices. Its still not working right. I can turn my xbox off with the app and turn it back on with the app,
but the next day (nothing has changed) it doesnt work again and I have to re sync all apps.

my xboxone wont turn on from my control pad. i have to manually power on the console and then hard wire my control pad to get it recognized. it works normally after that. my console also no longer powers on my tv when i turn it on even tho it is set to do
so.

If Smartglass is running before I turn the console on then it wont find it. I'll just get the no console found message.

Closing the app fully, ensuring it is not running at all, and then restarting it fixes the issue. The console gets found straight away.

This means that if I leave Smartglass running I can use it as a standalone app but it becomes useless as a remote for the console, since it wont find it.

Hopefully that is a more easily understandable explanation.
