just recently switched to xbox one (and no official background music is terrible am i right) and i tried installing an app for it and it said 'something happened at our end' 'wait a bit'

i waited 20 minutes and still nothing

it says

Blu ray app won't download

I have a similar issue... purchased mainly for UHDTV/ Blu ray + HDR playback however download starts then connection speed drops to 0 Mb/s... tried console reset, same behavior... all other apps fine... just wasted 4 hours trying to instal an app!!! Looks
like I will return unit and purchase another product if I cannot find a solution

Blu ray app won't download

Every time I try to download the blu ray player app it fails.

All internet connections are fine. Other apps download and work correctly. Purely the blu ray player.

Any ideas?

I experienced this issue on a new system. I thought it may have something to do with my account as the exact same error occured when I tried to remote install a game on my Xbox One linked to the same Microsoft Account.

I logged in to
Microsoft Account: Devicesand the page refused to load and suggested that I reload it because of an account error. After having reloaded that page like ten times it finally loaded successfully. I tried installing from the store again right away, and it
worked flawlessly from the local Microsoft Store on my PC and for remote installing via the Microsoft Store on the web.

This could have been a coincidence but I hope this might be a useful troubleshooting tip fo someone in the future.

My console has updated and removed the Plex and EA Access Hub applications, now I can't download them, error 0x80072f8f. I did hard reset and full reset, nothing helps. Only Youtube and Media Player applications have downloaded, all other applications can't
be downloaded.

Yep, I’ve bought a new Xbox One S instead of old one for my 4K-tv and most of the apps won't install. Stops right at the beginning. Reset didn’t help.

Hello Jacobhg10,

You may need to update your console. For example, if you see a “Download stopped” error, you may need to install an update before the download can complete.

To see if there’s an update available:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Updates.
If there are any updates, they’ll appear in the left menu. If not, you'll see "No console update available."

If there is no update needed, I would strongly suggest trying the troubleshooting steps below:

Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > Alternate Mac Address > Clear

Then select System > Settings > devices and streaming > blue ray > persistent storage > clear three times > restart console.

If the issue persists, you can try soft resetting the Xbox again to see if it corrects the issue!
