  1. App sharing among different family accounts on the same windows 10 PC?

I just upgraded my PC to windows 10. Along with that, I got a free upgrate to the Minecraft windows 10 beta edition, which was loaded to my profile on the xbox app. I have 3 kids with separate logins on this computer, and when they go to their Xbox programs
minecraft is not listed. They are all listed as my children under my account. Is there a way to share xbox apps like this among family members on the same computer?

    :)

Another solution we can perform is to sign to a different Microsoft account in the Xbox app on Windows 10. Refer to

How to switch between Microsoft accounts in the Xbox app on Windows 10
for the steps. This can help us isolate if there's an issue with the account you're using.

Notify us with the progress. We'll provide you additional troubleshooting methods in case you encounter the same issue.

    Xbox play anywhere HELP!

The standard sharing features apply to Xbox Play anywhere, which means, if the Xbox console you're playing on is that family member's "Home Console", then you can play it.

If you want to play it on a PC, it's a bit more complicated.

The family member has to make sure, you are a member of the family on
    https://account.microsoft.com/family
    .

Also, the family member has to have an account on the PC you want to play the game on.

Then you will have to sign in with your own account on your PC and have the family member sign in with their family account on the Windows Store app under your account.

There they can then download and install the Play Anywhere game that you want to play which is on their own account.

    The process on how to
share games and apps within your family on Windows 10 is explained here

    Game share not working

On PC the sharing of games works differently than on the console.

On PC, your Microsoft Account needs to be a member of the Microsoft Family together with the account owning the games. You can add each other to the Microsoft Family at
    https://account.microsoft.com/family

After that, sign in on the Windows 10 PC with your own Microsoft Account. Then have the person owning the games come over, and open the Windows 10 Store. Sign out of your account from the Windows 10 store, and have the person owning the games sign in on
    the store.

Then have them download the game(s) they own and want to share to your PC.

After the games have been downloaded, the person signs out of the store, and you sign back in.

Compartilhamento do Xbox Game Pass no Windows 10 - existe? [Xbox Game Pass Sharing on Windows 10-does it exist?]

    Hi Lucas,

As mentioned earlier by XBF Leslie, even between two accounts on the same PC, Xbox Game Pass or Xbox Live Gold cannot be shared on a Windows 10 PC. Windows 10 or the Xbox App on Windows 10 does not have the same "Home Console" feature the Xbox One console
does so the sharing wouldn't work in the same way it does on then Xbox One and license sharing on the PC is not currently supported. You will need to get the subscriptions separately for each account on the PC.

I hope that clears thing up!

Playing Dowloaded Game with my kids on multiple computers

    Hi WGWhite,

Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums, I'd be happy to answer that.

Unfortunately, game license sharing is not the same on Windows 10 as it is using the

    Home console
feature on the Xbox One. Since this game is only available on PC, you cannot share the license using a Home console feature. However, I think there is a similar method to allow you to share a game license on multiple PC's with your Family account.
I believe the Family account sharing on Windows 10 was supposed to be implemented on Xbox but that idea was replaced with Home console for Xbox One. Here is a quote from a reddit thread with this solution:

"Game sharing on the Windows 10 system (digital downloads only through the Windows 10 app store) works like this.

You can have up to 10 devices being used.

All the accounts you want are to be attached to your FAMILY, so an adult needs to add the accounts into it.

Now all you need to do is add each account you want to have access to each device.

Now they will be able to share there purchases across that device, as long as the account that has been ADDED to that device ( basically at least signed in once). You may also need to download the game/app on that account. Once that is done you can swap
to the other account (thats in the FAMILY) and then when you go to the App store in the other Family account you should be able to go to the product, and see it as INSTALL, not purchase.

    Thats it.

Side note, you will not be able to be signed into 2 devices at the same time for sharing a game."

The description is a little hard to follow but I think you want to make sure the account that owns the game is added to all of the PC's that are going to be used and make sure that same account is signed into the Microsoft Store app. Then, your child accounts
can be added to those PC's and I think at that point they should be able to download the game from the Store app.

Give that a try and see if it works.

How to move Forza Horizon 3 from one user account to another on the same PC?

    Hi,

You can actually share Windows Apps and games between different user accounts, to do so, you'll need to add your son's account to the same family. A family account will be really useful to you as you can set up child account settings and tailor them to
what access you want to give him. To help set this up, I suggest you read
    this blog post
, as it explains everything you need to do.

    Hope that helps.
